Hello/Pre-Nursing Student

Hello everyone!!

I am new to the forum and I just wanted to say hello. I have applied to nursing school and I am now waiting to see if I was accepted or not. If I am accepted I will begin in Jan.08. I have heard so many scary stories about nursing school.

I was wondering if there is anyone that attended Sandhills Community College in NC or Central Carolina Community College in NC. I applied to Sandhills, but I missed being accepted by 3 points. I really wanted to attend this school, so I was disappointed when I found out I wasn't accepted. Central Carolina Community College was my 2nd choice.

Also, people are scaring me about some type of calculation exam given every semester. I heard that if you have a 4.0 and you don't pass the calculation exam you are out of the program. Does anyone know if this is true or not?

Well, sorry for asking so many questions.
