If you cant afford a drug book (which is something that every nurse should have-its essential!), Go online and use the internet.
There is webmd.com and discoveryhealth.com They both list all drugs and things you need to know about them. Discovery health also has a drug interaction checker.
Or just do a search online for specific categories and find drugs that relate to them.
Good luck.

However, I agree with the other posters - the purchase of a nursing drug book is essential, along with research and effort on your part.
Here are some of the drug sites I have bookmarked for my own personal perusing:
Although I just typed them from my "Favorites" file they surprising work! (I just double checked). As other posters have said, you need to buy a nurses drug book. I, personally, like Mosby's Nursing Drug Reference because the drugs are in alphabetic order by generic name so I don't have to go looking in the index to find out where they are located in the book. I get a new one each year.
