Good morning everyone!

I've been a backseat driver here on AN for a while now. I thought I would say hello to all my fellow nurses out there in Northwestern PA.

I've been a nurse just shy of three years. I work on a Surgical/Trauma ICU. I must say I wish I would have chose nursing as my first career. I love my job, and everything about it.

My nursing career has been a bumpy ride thus far. I started in a small ICU, then hopped on over to Orthopadics for a short time as a first-assist in the OR, back to the ICU setting... and recently I ventured into travel nursing, which I found out was also NOT for me.

I'm planting my feet firmly where I am now.. love the job, love the unit.

Hope to hear from some of my neighbors out there.
