hello lvn getting rn through rue

Published

I am in texas and have decided to get my RN through distant learning. If you have any info please pass it on. I was reading today that mercy and unity were alleviating lvn position. I do home health and there are lots of changes of things lvn's can't to in the field. Iwas in a meeting yesterday and I asked the DON were they trying to get rid of positions of the LVN in home healtha and she did not respond:idea: inputs are appreciated

Please do a search on this forum on RUE and excelsior. You are NOT getting an RN thru RUE. They are only a study guide publishing company that sells their materials for thousands of dollars. The RN degree comes from Excelsior college and they also provide study guides free of charge. If you need extra study materials (from RUE/Chancellors/etc) you can often find them on Ebay from suckers like me that went into it without knowing what I was doing. You will only pay a small fraction of the cost doing it this way.

did you complete your Rn. I have a couple of friends that hav completed. I was talking to a RN at work lastnight and she was telling me that it is nest to have a BSN or better to make the real money have you heard that.:rotfl:
