Is it true that even if you are not a registered nurse in the Phil. I can take the NCLEX? Is it applicable in Canada? This is a sort of clarifications. Thanx

for nclex like in cali they will look for your license and if you do not yet have one, you just have to make an explanation letter stating your reasons. my friends who just took the june2007 nle in the phils and at the same time applied for nclex a few months ago have now their elligibility to take the exam.

and NCLEX is not applicable in Canada. they have a separate licensure exam there.

Yes, you can take the NCLEX-RN exam even if you're not a Philippine RN...All you have to do is submit all the requirements and you need to fill-up some forms. Visit California BON website at www.rn.ca.gov to download the forms and for the list of instructions for the application process. Good luck
