Welcome! This site is so resourceful, I love reading the stories of people who start from Cna/MA that work their way all the way up to the RN ladder and even end up us a PHD and run some of the highest ranked positions in facilities. Often I felt, I was the only one who had to take baby steps to where I am now and that is okay, it is not a race, it is stressful and it will not be easy, but take a deep breath and take it one day at a time. I started my Journey in 2004 and am taking my RN Boards (2nd time) hopefully by summer. I was in the business aspect of things when real estate was booming but it didnt last. The medical field is very stable even with all the crazy health care/business issues going on. I can show up to work knowing that no matter how hard my day was, the person I am taking care of needs me and that alone is priceless.

Hello,
How is everyone doing?! I'm new and just wanted to introduce myself properly and say hello to everyone.
My name is Wanisha. I am from California and I am a MA. I graduated 2 years ago. I am now going to take my certification later this month. Excited!! lol Yeah but I do not plan on stopping at MA. My goal is to be a NP. But first I am goin for RN. Nothing wrong with being a MA but it's just not enough for me. I love the medical field, and I am so excited to progress to a Nurse. Right now I am starting prerequisites for Nursing so I am not in nursing school yet so that is why I am taking my cert exam so I can be better qualified to get a job as a MA. Well nice to meet everyone! Look forward to you guys posts.
