Idaho rocks!
11 Posts
Hello All! Just wanted to say hi to all and state that I wish I would have found this site sooner! I took my NCLEX today and as I have been reading all the posts, I am also convinced that I failed!!! I was cutoff at 75 and the last question that I had was a "select all that apply" one....I have heard that if you get the last one wrong then it probably means you have failed...I have a tendency to get those types of questions wrong and now I am stressing about it.
Of course, now that I am wracking my brain to remember the questions I am remembering all the ones that I missed. I guess I just need some encouragement because these next two days of not knowing are going to be torture!

Welcome, Idaho! Please don't worry, and the last question bit is fallacy.
Hope you enjoy the site, and keep us posted on how you did.

the last question that i had was a "select all that apply" one....i have heard that if you get the last one wrong then it probably means you have failed first of all... :groupwelcome: secondly, take some deep breaths, and take some comfort in that what you fear is one of many nclex myths. you could have gotten question #75 wrong, had the computer shut off, and still pass! remember, it has to give you at least 75 questions, and once it is 95% certain it know your competency level, the test will end. you could have reached that level well before your final question, so don't just assume you failed! hang in there...you're in very good company here!!! :icon_hug: does your state offer quick results? if so, i reccomend doing to highly! in fl (where i tested) the bon is usually really quick in posting license numbers, but since i tested last thursday, i knew i couldn't wait until this week, so i was able to find my results saturday morning (and thus, i was able to enjoy the rest of the weekend!) good luck...we're all thinking of you, and don't forget to let us know your results!!!
