I'm an RN with 2 years of work experience from med/surg unit. I'm interested to work in healthsouth fort worth so I wanted to know about the place, working conditions, Nurse-patient ratio, types of patients, hourly rate and other things that you think I need to know about that hospital.
Positive comments as well as Negative comments about the place are very welcome. :)

With two years of experience HR will probably offer you in the mid-$20s per hour. Their pay grid is not terribly competitive.
The average nurse/patient ratio is about 1:9. It ranges from 1:7 when fully staffed up to 1:12 when understaffed.
Half of the patients are s/p CVAs and receive three hours per day of intense rehab. I would describe the workload as med/surg lite. The nurses do complicated wound care, administration of blood products, maintenance of central lines, PEG tube feedings, nebulizer treatments, removal of surgical staples and sutures, IV line starts, and a mixed bag of other skills.
