Healthcare Essentials course, where?????

Published

Does anyone know where I can take a Healthcare Essentials course in San Diego? I have to take this class to meet all my pre-reqs for any public LVN program in the area, and I just can't find any HCE courses. If you know of one please help!

$25.00 for the book that's cheap! I would take the money, and two forms of ID.

Did you get in to the class for healthcare essentials? I did for evening class. I showed up at 4am and there were already a line for 11 people. I don't have the book yet. Someone I met from the line said that the $25 is only for registering the class and they will provide the workbook but not the textbook. You can only read the textbook during the class hours but can't bring at home. Do you know what textbook they gonna use? Please let me know. Thanks.

I didn't even go to the registration on Monday because they were only going to have a night class open. I can't do that because I'm working a PM shift at a nursing home as a CNA. I am going to have to take the course at Grossmont Health Occupations. Goodluck with this course. Are you planning to become an LVN?

National City Adult School only needed 20 students for morning class and 35 students for evening class. Who said that only evening class will be open? I will take CNA class after this. Yep, I am planning to become an LVN. I am thinking to take my prerequisites in City College since they have evening schedules.

yeah but their courses are so expenside. their healthcare essentials course is like $400, and their cna program is $1,500+. i would recomment to stick with rop cna classes and national city adult school.
