A lot of people have a lot of different takes on the practice exams. Some people get As and Bs if they are getting 60s on the practice exams, others get Cs or fail from that same score.
My advise is to tally up your scores in each section and review the right and wrong rationales. Then focus on the areas that you scored the lowest. Make sure you feel comfortable with your knowledge before you test. ~Good Luck

It all depends on how comfortable you feel with the material. MsPC gave good advice to you about seeing your weak areas. The Excelsior exams are divided into percentages, so the major topics covered in your content guide are how your actual exam is graded, whereas the practice exam is just based out of 100%. Use your practice tool as a guide to see your strengths (meds, interventions, etc) and pay CLOSE attention to the rationales they provide.
On the actual exam, you may score a 50% in one content area, and if this content area is one that is heavily weighted (some exams have topics that are 40% of the grade), it may cause you to get a lower grade on the exam and not pass.
My last test I took-Developmental Psych, I scored a 69% on the practice test and a B on the actual exam, but all the topics are only 10% of the grade, so I had 10 chances to bring my grade up.
Does that kinda make sense? It took me a while to get the swing of it, too. Good luck!! You will do great :-)

I just took health safety a few days ago. I got a 69% on practice exam a and then 73% on practice exam b. Somehow I managed to get an A on the actual health safety exam!! I'm not sure how. It wasn't too bad though. I just really paid attention to the rationales and also concentrated on Biological safety and psychological safety. These are the 2 areas that give students the most trouble. Good Luck!! I'm sure you will do great. Now I'm studying for chronicity!!
Thanks!!!!
Just scheduled this exam for June 16th... So wish me luck and any study suggestion are welcomed with opened arms....
