Health Safety....ewwww!

I just took form A and scored a 62% (weird because that is what I scored on Form A/B on Transitions). I added up each section and have a good idea what I need to study. The nursing process was only 10 questions and I scored 80% on it. I think I'm ok there. The psychological safety was my worst area at 45%, biological safety 55%, Health & Wellness 65%, Envir. 73%, Med safety 66%. I'm using SG101 and am going to get started studying tonight and I have 2 weeks till I test. I'm just unsure of what to study in the material. I also have the Saunders book also and plan to read those sections. There is just so much info in SG101 that I'm not sure what is really important. I'm going to skip studying for the Nursing Process because I think I have it pretty much down and its the smallest % but seems to be the largest part of my SG101 material. Any pointers on this monster?

Honestly, I wouldn't stress too much over this exam. It's basic fundamentals of nursing and it's probably the easiest of all the exams. I studied for a few days and made an A. You will be fine :-)

Well I have studied about an hour today but I just read med safety, which is pretty basic. I have noticed that the SG101 materials doesn't cover everything in the SG101 notes like it did in Transitions.

People will disagree with me, but as someone who has taken all the nursing exams with EC, SG101 is something you need to be careful with if you are using that as your primary source of info for your exams. I did use SG101 for H&S and I found that they could probably cut out half of the stuff they have in there and it would be fine.

I would say to get yourself a Taylor's Fundamentals Book, you will need this when you take your FCCA and when you are studying for the CPNE anyways, and verify any and all questions you have about the material there.

Thanks! I just ordered the exact edition from Chegg used and it was only 5.49. I still have all of my LPN school books. I love my Med-Surg book and am hoping to use it instead of having to buy the recommended book. Plus I have all of the Incredibly easy series books as well.

I bought the Taylor's Fundamentals, Saunders NCLEX, and several of the books from Nursing Made Incredibly Easy Series (I LOVE this series) I still have my Med-Surg book from nursing school and I have been able to find the info listed on the content guide very easily with the books I currently have. I got my books from texbooksrus.com.
