Regardless of what folks think of the article or Dr. McCaughey (the author), I think it's important to point something out since I saw this shot fired across the bow of "the right wing media."
Dr. McCaughey is a New York Democrat.
She was nominated by "The Liberal Party" to run for NY governor in 1997...a party that is pro-abortion, and advocates a universal health care system...these are not the traits of a "right winger."
Most amusing is the idea that Bloomerg news is "right wing." The founder of Blomberg may be a Republican, but he is a big cheerleader for Obama, was a lifelong Democrat and only switched parties to take advantage of an expiring term limit and run for NY mayor. The last thing he can be accused of is being "right wing" on social issues like health care.
