Does health Insurance cover all the immunizations required for Nursing enrollment. If the insurance doesn't cover the immunization and tests (ppd chest x-ray etc) Is there any doctor in Central NJ where one can go to get all the immunizations and tests for reasonable fees. Please reply

My impression:Immunizations should be covered to keep you up to date (you may need to pay a co-pay for the visit). If you have lost your immunization records and need titers drawn, some insurances won't cover that. You may also need a double PPD test which some insurances cover but not sure if all do. You shouldn't need a chest x-ray unless you react to a PPD, in which case that should be covered.

Agreed. Your insurance should cover boosters for immunizations and any others you haven't received. I got the tdap booster recently along with starting hep A and B series. I just had to pay the copay.
