Health Care Provider Rip[ Off Please Helpnurses I Need Your Advice

Hi All, heres my situation

i recently had to terminate a pregnancy because of ill health

procedure cost about 450 out of pocket, iwent to the gyn that day for the termination with the intension to pay cash but asked if they take my insurance. i was told yes

i received a bill in the mail from my insurance co with 2 checks one for $7,000 and another for $700.00 which i am suppose to give to the DR office but on the statement from my health insurance company it states a balance of 14,000 dollars i owe to the dr office

theres a whole list of labs etc etc

i went in for a routine procedure and came out in 2 hours

i almost peeded on my self when i got the statement

the DR charged about 20,000 dollars total on one bill

the insurance pays 80% and i am suppose to be responsible4 for 20%

some thing seem wrong with this picture

it sounds like fraud to me

help what should i do

all that happened that day was

urine test

blood test

sonogram

procedure

i felt like that is fraud

if i had payed the cash i would have owed nothing but they seem to have known that and lied to me

PLEASE SOME BODY HELP ME
