HCA New Grad Program?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has gone through a new grad program at any of the HCA hospitals in the Denver area. How was it? I start at the end of July and just want some feedback from anyone who may have gone through the program.

Thanks in advance!!

Anyone?

Sorry, wish I could answer your question. I am still waiting to take my NCLEX. I didn't realize they opened the new grad program, how did you apply to it? Looks like you got into Mom/Baby too? That is what I hope to be able to get into.....some day!!

I went through the new grad program at Swedish.... although the program was Ok, I really disliked working for Swedish....

What did you dislike working for Swedish? Since they are both HCA I figure they are somewhat similar in how they run things. Anything specific you didn't like?

Thanks!

I just applied for several jobs, and a recruiter contacted me back in April. I went in for 2 interviews and after the second they said they wanted to hire me contingent on passing my boards which I passed last week! If I were you I'd contact the recruiter @ hospitals directly, I think it may be easier that way.

It helped that I had 1 year of mom/baby experience as an LPN. I'm pretty sure that was a pretty big deciding factor.
