Wondering if there's anyone around who's applying for the Spring 2020 BSN Program at HPU? Having trouble finding any info from others applying!

I have all A's & a couple B's for my prereqs and got a 73.3 on my TEAS.

Hello! I am also applying to HPU for the Spring 2020 cohort as a transfer. I have a good mix of A's and B's for my prereqs. and received an 88% on the TEAS test. I just checked my HPU account today and received my acceptance into HPU's general admin. as a pre-nursing student. From what I've researched that is the first step and then we should receive results for the nursing program October 15th or after. Goodluck!

Congratulations I also checked the status of my application and have been accepted into the Spring 2020 pre-nursing cohort. Have any of you received the actual mailed letter?

I am applying to HPU 2020 Fall program soon. I haven’t taken my TEAS but I have received all A’s in my prerequisites and wanted to ask about HPU. I would be a transfer applicant, so does that mean I the BSN track is 2 years? Also, how hard was the TEAS? Is there anything I can do that will make me more competitive? Thank you!

Hi! Yes the BSN is a 2-year, 4 semester program at HPU ? I thought the TEAS was pretty difficult but you just need to study a lot for it. The science is the hardest section for sure. The ATI study manual was super helpful! I think trying to score the highest you can on your TEAS will make you more competitive since you already have really good grades. Good luck! Those of us applying for Spring are gonna find out if we got in or not on the 15th so we’ll keep you posted! I wish I scored higher on my TEAS abut the science portion killed my score ?

Ok thank you for your advice! The 15th is tomorrow! Please let me know the results. I am studying for the TEAS and I thought that the math would be the hardest. However, I guess I’ll need to brush up on science too. How were the other sections? I’m applying before February 15th for Fall 2020. Let’s hope we all get in! Hi everyone,

I received the hard copy letter of the GENERAL acceptance into HPU as a "pre-nursing" major for Spring 2020 in the mail, today. I am still anxiously waiting for our nursing acceptance letters, though! Just making sure, the nursing decision letters are only sent via email, right?

I would not be the one to ask, but congratulations on the pre-nursing acceptance! I’m sure you’ll get in. Can I ask what your prerequisite grades were and your TEAS score? I am asking all that I can because I am applying to HPU nursing for Fall 2020. I hope you get in and I know you will! Keep me posted and good luck!

Hi Kmoss!

For my prereqs, I got A's and B's!

I got an 80.7 on the TEAS.. IMO I feel like that's a pretty low score in comparison to what some others have scored.

I'm sure you're gonna do great on the TEAS and get in for Fall 2020! ?
