Do i need a SSN to take the NCLEX in Hawaii? and also what type of CGFNS should I apply for? cert prog application or the CES?

Have you reviewed the HI BoN requirements for licensing by examination as an internationally educated nurse? The answers should all be there

You need a valid SSN for HI to issue a nursing license. The NCLEX is but one step in the licensing process. Unlike CA, VT and other states HI will accept & process your application but will not issue a license until a valid SSN is provided.

Just know there are extremely few nursing jobs unless highly experienced or specialized and a very high cost of living in Hawaii
