i am one of those people that rarely remembers my dreams but the one i had last night has sure stuck with me! i don't graduate until oct 1st so i have quite awhile to go before i will be taking the nclex-pn. last night i had a terrible dream that i went to take the nclex and i knew nothing and it was terrible and 2 days later i checked to see if i passed and it said failed in huge bold letters. i woke up in a cold sweat and it has been on my mind all day. it is terrible how much a dream can affect you. up until then i have been feeling really confident and like it was not going to be that bad and i would have no trouble. now i think my dream has got me doubting myself. sorry...just had to let that out!

that is what you are afraid of happening and was kept in your unconscious mind, it was just manifested in your dream.. since you have a long time to study, prepare as hard as you can to eliminate those fears and have a positive attitude to attain the confidence that you need. :loveya:

omg, I can totally relate! I had a dream that I failed the nclex too. One day I was watching "True Hollywood Story: John Kennedy Jr" and they said that he failed the Bar Exam the first two times he took it. Well at the time I didn't think about that but when I went to bed I had a dream I failed the nclex and when I went to tell my dad the news he said "it's not a big deal, JFK Jr failed the bar exam twice and he was successful!"
The dream was so real it was scary! But it was just that- only a dream. You seriously have to think positive and go into that exam calm as you can. It really does help. Good luck studying!!
