I have accumulated at least 2 sets of study guides from Rue and Chancellors, they are only a few years old. I would like to start toward my Rn but do not know where to start? I am clueless as to how this process works. I just don't know which book to study first. I understand that I can do several of them before I even register with excelcior? Any advice will be appreciated. My children are in school all day now so it will be quiet to study. Thank you in advance!!

hi sharon, a nice place to start would be to look at excelsior's free content guides...it also may be a good idea to talk with someone from the school just to get an idea of what you need (if you have not already done so) you did not mention which two sets of study
materials you already have. i agree with you that with the children at school during the day that will be the perfect time for jumping into the books:thankya: as i am sure you already can tell all the suport and help you need is here. best of wishes to you:balloons: alexuz

If you have the study guide and need the credit for humanities, I would start with the Lifespan develp. test. It's a no brainer really and will help you build confidence with studying alone. Make sure to talk with someone at EC about what requirements you'll need - you don't want to waste time if you don't need it. You can do all pre-reqs and Nursing concepts I and II before enrolling. Good luck.
