Have you seen anyone make a lateral move to the Nurse Corp

from a different Officer Corp?

I have submitted a package for Clinical Laboratory Officer based on by BS in Medical Technology degree.

I will graduate with my LPN diploma in 5 weeks.

My intent is to finish BSN and then make a lateral move from Medical Service Corp to Nurse Corp.

My AMEDD recruiter assures me this process will be no problem but I would feel better if someone has actually seen this happen.

The actual board met in late October. Then I had to get an age waiver. Then I had to wait for Senate confirmation of commission.

Thank you for letting me know.

The October board was my first one, my application was initially as a student nurse candidate. The Senate rejected it due to my program being a MS of Nursing entry and not a BSN. So we re-worded it and sent it to the November board, which passed it over with no explanation.

So, just waiting on word from the December board.

I do have an age waiver, a tattoo waiver and have been to Meps and all, so, it is disconcerting.
