Have you injured yourself while working?

Anyone here injured themselves while working? Like a fracture?

Wow!! Thank goodness you are OK!!

I got punched in the face by an aggressive 24 year old male patient (anoxic brain injury) on a physical rehab floor. No significant injury other than a swollen lip.

One of my coworkers tripped over a wire from a computer cart and broke her leg.

Yes it was an insane injury/accident! I was back working about 8 months later, starting with easeback and then up to full time after 6 or 8 weeks I forget. Worked full time from January til the 3rd week of July, where pain flared up very badly (had been kind of gradually declining and then 2 insanely busy short staffed shifts sent it horrendous) :( So sadly I have been off work ever since trying to get it back to normal :( I am now in a 5 day a week program with specialized workout routine and chiro or physio each day.

Wow to get punched in the face while working is horrible. And your poor co-worker, sounds like something that would happen to me :X lol.

I got knocked unconscious riding unsecured in the back of an ambulance once on a neonatal transport. Hit my head on a monitor or something when we hit a pot hole. Had a banging headache for about a month afterwards. Probably a pretty profound concussion- but I tend to ignore stuff and didn't miss any work except the rest of the shift that it happened on.
