I caught wind about this group that is hiring experienced nurses to work privately inside the hospital. You know...for the exclusively rich and/or critical patients who wants one-on-one care. Can anybody please tell me if this is true? I went to this site to see if a thread is already on board for my questions. None. Has anybody tried to apply here? What are the requirements? Any tips?
I'm tired of extensive working hours in the hospital and still earning meager salary. This way I earn a lot more:twocents: daw and I still get to practise my profession in a tertiary hospital!
I don't want home care nursing. Does anybody know the rates?
Is being a PDN a good choice?
What about if I still want to go abroad:confused:...will my experience as a PDN (in-patient) suffice?
Hope somebody can help me, please.
hello CAstaRNIm also interested in PDN at SLGC, is it a contractual, 6 months /1 year? may i have their contact info? i have 1 year exp (volunteer nurse) at Gen. ward and ICu here in manila,, also I recently worked as PDN to patients with MV... :)
They dont count volunteer work as bedside experience...sorry.
This is a very good opportunity indeed. I still have nurse friends in the Philippines who will be interested. Can anyone please tell me how much is the salary ? Is the private duties in hospital or extend till the patient has checked out ?
Rate is P2000-2,500 per shift depending on the care needed. Our org is basically "in-Patient" services only. Meaning we dont go outside of the hospital to take care of patients. We've got a steady flow of patients inside the hospital that we seldom need to go out. If we do go out and extend our services at home...it's because they are VIPs, politician, famous and rich people who pays us even more. Sometimes travel abroad with them.
