Have you ever been to Muskegon?

I need some hints.

Myself and 4-5 other families want to vacation together. We'd like to get a cabin.

What is Muskegon like? Is it a good place to vacation for a week? Do you know how to go about getting a cabin?

This summer a girlfriend and I and our kids spent a night in Oscoda. She called the Oscoda area chamber of commerce and they sent her a brochure with all the rental cabins listed. It was an easy way to get phone numbers and I'm sure Muskegon area does the same thing.

hi! I live in Muskegon, and it is beautiful. I don't know of any cabins in Muskegon, but people do rent out their beach homes. I have no phone numbers for that. However, I do have a couple numbers that I hope you will find useful.... You can rent nice RV's at Bonner's....231-788-2040. There's a nice campground, Hoffmaster State Park....231-798-3711. And the Muskegon Area Chamber Of Commerce number is: 231-722-3751. I hope I helped you out, and if you do choose to vacation here, you won't be disappointed:)

I'm originally from Grand Haven so I'm going to put in a plug for my hometown!...call the chamber of commerce....they can give you all the information you would ever need. There is a state park right on the beach if you want to camp. You can go out on the lake for the day and fish if you want. Its only 10 miles or so from Muskegon, so any attractions that are there are very easy to get to. If you ever go the first weekend in August you can hit the Coast Guard Festival which is awesome....Kids day for the kids, tour the Coast Guard boats, craft festival, parade and some of the best fireworks you'll see!!!!!!!!!!!
