I had one 7 months ago when I gave birth and sex is still uncomfortable. I also think they sewed too much skin!! Did this happen to you? Wont this make a pap smear even more uncomfortable when they use that instrument?? I have an appt. with my Gyno in 3 weeks but just want to get a few answers while I wait.
i had an epis and tore ( forceps) 3rd degree w/1st. 2nd baby epis, tore, broken tail bone , completely different for a while! It should get better... Also are you breastfeeding, hormones still out of whack n-e thing like that! that might be a source for why the "dry feeling"
chin up sista.. Tell your gyn.. they should at least investigate while u r there....
Wow...I'm lucky, I guess. I had an episiotomy with a 4th degree extension when I had my oldest (he was 10 lbs, and persistent OP to boot). That was 20 years ago. No real problems after a couple of months.
He "paved" the way, though. Only a small tear with son #2 (9lb. 3oz).
Sorry to hear about your experience. Good advice on this board.

I would try some perineal massage / stretching techniques to try to restore some flexibility:
