Hi all!

I'm looking to get some information from anyone that has had experience as a nurse in United Arabs. I hear you have to write a test to get the job, is this true?? If so, what kind of test??

  • Do they fly you out for an interview???
  • Are accomodations provided??
  • What is the "average" salary for a nurse in UAE??
  • Patient to nurse ratio?
  • contract lengths?

Any information would be great!

One thing that I can tell you is that you are not flown out for an interview, everything is completed before you arrive there and then you are ready to begin work. You are not able to go there and check things out, unless you wish to do it from your own pocket. No agency will do that.

There are already quite a few threads on this forum about working there as well as posts from those that are there. Suggest that you do a search here to find the posts.

Housing is provided, as you are placed essentially in a locked area separate from the outside, with guards stationed there to keep others out.

Use the search engine that we have at the top of this forum, and just put in Dubai or any other country there in the Middle East and it will bring up a list of all of the threads related to that topic.
