I am thankful that I am completely done having kids now that I work in the NICU. I was an anxious pregnant person in general, but I can't imagine how I would have been after seeing all that I have seen now. I really feel for all my young co-workers who are starting on their family planning journeys. My SIL is currently pregnant at an advanced age and I hate feeling like any moment we are going to get bad news. I personally have taken advanced steps to ensure that no oops can occur in the future.
Just curious, has your experience as a NICU RN changed your views about pregnancy and starting a family?

Not yet, but I still have a couple years before I'd like to start having children.
Although, several of my coworkers' children ended up in the NICU...huh...

Being a nurse is a risk factor for preterm labor, the more high stress the position, the higher risk.
I don't know any NICU nurses who have changed their family planning per se but you can bet they are super-compliant with prenatal care. Though they may not be all that compliant with staying hydrated or keeping their feet up like they should.
