Has the board ever denied a license for not disclosing all attended schools?

Published

Hey Everyone,

I hope I'm writing this in the right place, I'm new to this site, and to nursing all together. That being said, I have a few things stopping me from attending an A.S. R.N. program at my local community college here in Southern California. I spoke to my academic counselor who advised that if I don't have all of my transcripts from previous schools sent in, there would be a possibility of having the medical board deny my license upon completion of the program.

For the record, I can't get my transcripts as I owe that private school in Los Angeles a pretty hefty amount of money. Another thing to keep in mind, I left that school SIXTEEN YEARS AGO.

Does anyone have any useful information that could help me out?

I know you have to provide "all" the things.

I was just curious, should I decide to go back to school, whether anything from my college days in the 70s would would count, or if I would basically have to repeat gen Ed courses.

That depends on the program
