Has anyone used Saladin:Unity of Form and Funciton A&P Textbook?

Hi. I am wodering if I would be able to get away with buying the used copy of this textbook instead of the new version, so I can save some money. Does the new version have CD's or any other additional material included with it? Also, did you use the Labortory Manual that associated this textbook? Did you buy the lab manual used or new?

My course used this book, I was lucky enough to be able to borrow it from a friend who had already completed it. I ended up using it more as a reference than anything else, so it probably wouldn't have mattered if I had an older version, I bet the vast majority of the information is the same. We used a lab manual that was produced for the specific class by the instructors (handouts printed by the school and sold at the bookstore), so I'd find out what your course uses. The book came with a CD, but I never used it. I've purchased a few older editions and international editions for some other courses to save money and it's never been a problem for me.
