I am wonderning if anyone has used Meds Pub (online study tool) to study for NCLEX prep, if so, did it help? Do you think it is worth the time or would you have used something else to prep for boards?

I just graduated myself. We used MEDS PUB , we are being told by instructors that there is a link between using the program and passing. Now I don't know how true that is, guess I will find out when I take the NCLEX.

So sorry, just noticed tne PN -- I am taking the RN exam -- so sorry. My response may not help you with the PN.
My suggestion is to do something online or at least a question-based review in an NCLEX style. I am currently in a Medspub review this week and I'm not impressed. I am willing to bet we've only done 25-30 questions over 16 hours of lecture. Personally, my time is better spent doing questions. All they are doing is repeating lecture we've had before. For me, it is more effective to do questions and find out why I chose the wrong answer (if I did) or why I chose the right answer and why. I hope that makes sense to you. We have over 60+ students in the class -- they are making $19,500 from our fees and the lecture given today on endocrine didn't follow the book or the notes (notes by the way, such as powerpoint presentations, are few and far between). I'm simply not impressed we're getting what we paid for. I expected more questions, more question review, not an outline review that doesn't even follow the book they supply for you. Feel free to e-mail me if I can elaborate.

Hello! I know it was a while ago that you took the meds pub review, but I wanted to see if you could elaborate on why you didn't like it. Maybe especially now since you've probably already taken NCLEX?
