Has anyone tested in Lubbock TX?

I have a test date for Feb. 6,7,8 to test in Lubbock. Has anyone out there tested at this site yet? I know it is new, just hoping to get insights, hints, tips, etc. Also any tips, hints, prayers thoughts, good wishes, etc. will be greatly appreciated:)

i believe this is the new site that ec has chosen to switch to, from amarillo tx to lubbock tx.

i tested in amarillo tx 11/7 (and passed) and the ces and ca were expressing that they wanted a site closer to were they lived. they were coming from 6 hours away and wanted someplace closer to were they live. so i guess this must be the new site.

the ces and ca were a wonderful group of woman, they want you to pass as long as you are accurate in what you do, you will do great!

Boy I hope your right! I am a little worried because it is a new site. My understanding is they have added it as another test center in addition to Amarillo because there is such a backlog. Still I hope the CEs and CA do come from the other site then they will be experienced in the testing process. Thanks. BTW...CONGRATULATIONS on passing your CPNE:)

oh well i guess then the ces and ca that were at amarillo would most likely be at lubbock then.

interesting though, if they kept amarillo and lubbock and plano....i choose amarillo, because it was the most western site...being in wa state, i did not want to deal with too much of a time change. i had a 9 month wait!

the ca i had was named linda, wonderful gal, ces jane and glendanne great ces, there was another ce older woman whom i can't remember her name, but she was good too.

I will keep you posted. I am getting really wound up...my nerves are on edge and I get a little irritated (LOL) at just about everything. I am seeing mneumonics and care plans in my sleep! I cannot wait until I can say "yeah-I passed!!!"Thanks for the encouragement:)

Hi Gail,

On a different related topic, I am from WA state also and waiting for the CPNE. I know we have to work a certain number of clinical hours in WA. Does all that have to be done and paperwork in before we can sit for the NCLEX?
