Hi Tracy,

I'm not sure what the PSB Test is - but I just posted a very long note about the TEAS Test I took tonight. I'm guessing they are similar - so maybe what I wrote will help you out a bit. If you have any questions I'll be glad to answer them. Take care, SusanNC

susan ...goodness LOL you really did post a doozy ...lol i wish you just finished my test yours is not much like mine ....mine consists of verbal ability non-verbal ability , math, science, spelling, pracitical nurse reasonin(?), and 1 more i cant think of right now ...anyhoot the only thing my school looks at is the verbal, nonverbal , math and the pratical nurse reasoning.....If your like me i can study alot better for something if i know exactly what the HECK to study ! Its the unknown that gets me all screwed up!

anyway thanks again

I took the PSB-RN test back in Jan. I got the review book by Marion Gooding called Nursing and Allied Health Entrance Exam Review. they had both the RN and the LPN PSB in there. i ended up in the 90th percentile on all of the sections but one...81% for science. i really think the book helped a lot! let me know if you have any more questions...oh and the non-verbal is EASY!

good thread for me too....

does that review book give a good idea of the test format, timing, etc?

thanks!

kchop-

Yeah in the front of the book is the break down of all the tests and times and scoring (i believe). I really like that one and the Barron's pre entrance exam review book. if you get the one by Marion Gooding get the 16th edition one.

if you have any more questions let me know!
