Has anyone taken the NET recently?

Has anyone recently taken the NET (Nursing Entrance Test)? How much of it was regular math and was there any algebra?

Thanks!

I have a percentage score on the left, and a percentile score on the right. Is one for math and the other for reading? I can't figure this out. What is the composite percentage and what is the compostie percentile? Thanks for your help.

The "percentage" score is how well you did on the test (100% being perfect). The "percentile" score is where you ranked in relation to all other test-takers. So if you got 85% on the percentage score, that means you got 85% of the questions right. If you got 85% on the percentile score, that means you did better than 85% of all other NET takers.

If you google "Nursing School Entrance Exam NET Test" it will give you the web site for the company that puts out the test and the study guide. They have a sample test link on the website you can try. Our college here in Michigan makes you take additional classes if you score

low on the reading comprehension/critical thinking. I realize your post is two years old but I thought someone else may need the info.

I took it last month (January), I would say only 10% or less was algebra...I felt that a lot of it was fractions and precentages though. So try to brush up on that portion of if you're a little rusty.

Hi,

I took the NET in Oct. 06.

The math was basic high school math mostly decimals and fractions, not very much algebra or geometry. There was also a lot of grammar. Very little science, only 10 questions if I remember. The study guides did help.

Is the Net test the same as the COMPASS test?

sorry, I don't know
