i'm in the process of trying to apply for the fall. and i've been asking questions to the person that is the head of the allied health department of the college where i plan on attending. one of the questions that i asked her was. beside the pre-req class that is required was there any other classes that i could take that would help me with what i'm wanting to go to school for.
and she suggested these classes anatomy and physiology 1, anatomy and physiology 2, introduction to psychology, and introduction to microbiology. so i was wondering if anybody is or has taken these classes? i was wondering how hard they were? and if during any of these classes did you ever have to get up in front of the class to give a speech or report?
We had to give presentations in A & P and Micro. The Micro presentation was in place of a mid term. I would do an oral presentation anyday over a midterm. Speech is one of the classes we need to graduate. The more speeches you give the easier it is. Just think, most people would prefer not to give a speech, I find everyone in the class is very helpful. Hang in there....

i'm sure you will have to take all of these classes. but you should sit down with a counsler to know exactly what you should be taking. besides studying, having a good professor will help you out a lot. if asking around doesn't help, go to www.ratemyprofessors.com. you should try to find a good professor for your classes before you register.

I took intro to psychology online. It wasn't too bad. No group projects or anything like that (I think I had to write maybe two papers). I havn't taken anatomy or micro yet.
