Has anyone gone to Unitek College in Fremont...I need help with loans?

Has anyone gone to Unitek College in Fremont? I am having the hardest time finding loans. I am already enrolled in the program and put my deposit down but I am having trouble finding loans. I DO NOT want to do Sallie Mae because of their 14% interest rate and every bank that I have tried to go though they say that Unitek does not participate in their student loan program. How the heck am I supposed to get a $30,000 dollar loan without going through Sallie Mae?!?!?! If anybody has any suggestions I would appreciate it...thank you.

Did you take the maximum Stafford loan (sub and unsub)?

I think you are going to have to take the Sallie Mae loan if you can't find alternatives, which may very well be the case.

Im starting at the end of the month as well. Unitek is now linked with fafsa. You should contact the school, or go ahead and apply for financial aid, grants and loans

did you find a way to pay for unitek? Im going there in Aug. and dealing with the same issue. If so, how was the program?
