I have been trying to get in there for couple of years, and even landed an interview. but they hired someone within the facility. The only reason I tried is because it is only 3 miles from my house. The recruiter never calls back if you leave a voice message or reply any email you send. I have heard from other people that it is not a great place to work. But i guess it depends on individual experience.

I am a current employee there. They're always hiring. In my personal experience go to the HR department in person. That's how I and several co workers landed a position.
just sent you a PM..

Has anyone been hired since this thread started? I was wondering the same about this hospital. I am a new grad and was wondering how good they are with orientation. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Bumping.....I live fairly close to JFK, have experience but never get a call back. So I'm curious as well!
This is discouraging. lol. I have no prior experience. I applied to several jobs but no call back. Let me know if they do call you.
Ill lwt you know if I hear anything - please do the same! Also, do you know the starting salary there these days??
any luck yet getting a job in JFK? If so, please provide any helpful tips.
No luck. A recruiter called me when I applied, however, I missed his call. When I called back, he did not remember why he called to begin with which was very frustrating. He gave me his email so I can email my resume to him. I did just that and followed up with him three days later. He was just as clueless as the last time I called. It was very frustrating.
That's interesting. It's the same problems I encountered with the recruiter. I think they have issues there. Someone told me she got a job by constantly calling and harassing them.
