Has Anyone Ever Taken The ATI NCLEX Predictor?

My school had us take the ATI NCLEX predictor test through http://www.ATItesting.com. I scored a 72.2% on this exam and according to this, I have a 96% chance of passing NCLEX the first time. If any of you have ever taken this exam before, how accurate do you feel it was? They also made us purchase all the DVD's and books that come with the program. Has anyone ever used them to study for boards and do you feel that they helped you? Thanks.

opalm if you find out let me know how it is I will take it October 14th as son as I get home from school I will let you know how it was for me. Anyway I will not be testing the theory of well it is a predictor because I am taking the Kaplan NCLEX review in Jan.

But if you find out anyhting let me know, Hey wdish me luck I would still like to do good on it because if i don't my school makes us do 40 remedial hours in the school nursing lab.

If we don't do well, we have to take it again. Then if we don't do well we have to remediate and then if we don't do well the third time we have to repeat the entire last semester. OK, I'm all for repeating something if one does not do well after three tries but no one at school seems to be able to tell me the logic of repeating the last semester and an improved score. My thought is if I do poorly because of pharm, (and there is no pharm course in our last semester) how will taking the last semester help me to improve my pharm score?

Anywho, let me know how you make out.

I took the predictor and BOMBED it. According to them I had like a 60% chance at passing the NCLEX. I took the NCLEX and passed with 105 questions. So I wouldn't give that test to much credit.

I am wondering if I am talking about the same thing as the predictor. I'll have to hit the ATI website again and look for the predictor. We use the module exams and then one comprehensive at the end of the program. Maybe this is not the same test.

Our class took the predictor exam at the end of nursing school at the end of April. It told me I had a 99% chance of passing, as did many of my fellow students. Out of our class of 45 students, 39 have taken it and we have all passed! I just found out I passed last Saturday and my license number just showed up on our BON website....WOOHOO!!!! I had 75 questions, my buddy had 122 and a few of our classmates got the full 265 and we have all passed.

It's the same for us, if we don't do well we have to retake then if we don't do well on the retake we have to do 40 remedial hours, before they will sign off on our papers from school. Also we have to go to the Dean and explain what we will do to further our NCLEX preparation. They are very serious about this ATI test.

I just hope I pass the first time around, because we always do an ATI after each nursing class rotation but none as in depth as this one. The others are usually for whatever nursing subject you were in at the time but tis one is comprehensive. Wish me luck, I'm a little worried. But we'll see.
