Has Anyone Else Done What I Am Doing?

Published

Hey everyone :)

So I was wondering, for any nurses or nursing students in Ontario who has done the compressed time frame nursing did you do all your courses, or a majority of them through Athabasca? That's what I am currently doing. I plan on going to UWO, since I live here in London. The required two mandatory courses are human anatomy and physiology and statistics, with the rest are up to you. You have to do a minimum of 10.0 courses, with only 5.0 of them at introductory level. I spoke to the academic counsellor ***** at UWO and she said that you can do them all online, and recommended that they other courses besides the 2 mandatory courses be courses that you do well in. For me it's English, so I plan on taking lots of English. I was just wondering, have any of you taken this route? If so, is it a good way to get into nursing?

Thanks everyone!
