I am thinking about other CUNY schools not based in Manhattan (though I might want to do my BSN at Hunters) like:

- CUNY: BCC, Hostos, Kingsborough, Laguardia, City Tech.

- In Nassau: LIU, Also SUNY: NCC

- Private like: Beth Israel or College of New Rochelle

What about you Larosiliere? (what a long name or are those two names?)

Hey all, Im currently a bmcc student on my third semester of the nursing program. it is a hard to get into the nursing program. but all i can tell you is that don't give up. there's always schools out there and bmcc is not that good of a deal. for instance, they try to rip students in the first sem. of buying books (i.e. ATI) to "help" us practice for the NCLEX. Really, though, who has the time? its not only a waste of time, but also money. and books don't come in easy these days...!!

There is this school out in NJ that some of my friends go coz they weren't accepted at BMCC. im not too sure exactly where it is, but you have to take a path train to get there. heard the GPA acceptance is 2.8. and its not that hard and the profs. are very helpful too.

hey DDspeed123,

I was wondering what nj school you was talking about that your friends are attending. how do they travel there? which train? Im currently attending BMCC and the program is very tough to get it. I want to check out jersey schools because it is little easier to get in. thank you so muxh
