I am doing the pre-clins and hope to start the clinicals by Spring '06. I will take some summer classes this summer as well. Are you in NYC Larosiliere? Are you in nursing school here?
Please everybody try to display your city if you can.
Spring 06 or 07? Im at BMCC and hope to transfer by fall 06.I applied to the Nursing program ,but got denied b/c of my 3.55 GPA.What do you think your GPA for the Pre-clinical will be?
OOOps!! Sorry, I meant Spring '07. So far I have been getting all 90's in class, except one 84 or something in one Mat104 test. So I think I am good. I also have a list from the advisement room on the 7th floor that shows me many other nursing colleges in the NYC area that I can apply to as opposed to just waiting 2-3 semesters to get into BMCC's program. Please go and ask you advisers for that list. I mean, BMCC is great and convenient for me but if I am not accepted into their program for whatever reason I will survive, lol!! and move on to another school that accepts me. I don't want to spend 10 years just getting my Associates!!
I agree!!! but honestly , I think BMCC is a waste of time.I cant wait to transfer. What other schools are you considering Babz?
I am thinking about other CUNY schools not based in Manhattan (though I might want to do my BSN at Hunters) like:
- CUNY: BCC, Hostos, Kingsborough, Laguardia, City Tech.
- In Nassau: LIU, Also SUNY: NCC
- Private like: Beth Israel or College of New Rochelle
What about you Larosiliere? (what a long name or are those two names?)
One name Babz..and it has made me famous since elementary school.lol.Im think about lIU, HUnter, Beth Israel, or Universities in Canada

Why universities in Canada?
I agreed with babbz! If possible, try to apply to as many school as you can and don't just focus only on CUNY schools (extremely long list and survival rate is low). SUNY schools are also difficult to get into. Your best bet is private school.
Good luck!
Sammi , I'm a Canadian citizen. So why not!I'll get financial aid, which I dont get here in the US.They have greats schools, a great rep,....etc.
