Has anyone applied at TVCC for the fall 2012 ADN program?

I applied back in December and cannot wait for letters or emails to be sent out. I'm going a little crazy, lol! Mr.Ballom said they should be sent out the end of March. I have 10 points with a GPA of 3.75 but did not take any courses from TVCC nor did I choose to take an honors course. I'm hoping with 10 points I'm in! Anyone else apply from the Ennis/Waxahacie area?

A couple of techs from our hospital are applying there. They are not very positive, though, because their advisor told them that more than 600 people are applying.

Wow, really? I know they have always had alot of applicants but 600? Prob looks like I won't be getting in with only 10 points :(

I live in Kaufman I go to TVCC I think it might be more like 300 applying for 150 spots...but I could be wrong. I have taken all my courses here and I applied to the nursing program also for fall 2012.

I applied with 10 points also but am currently taking 2 courses to higher my chances. I'm hoping that will be enough.:/

If you are asking me I applied with 10 points. I'm currently taking 2 classes @ TVCC. My GPA is 3.5 and Im in the Honor Society if that makes any difference :)

Does anyone know how many points they have accepted in the past and/or lowest GPA? I have read the lowest points was 10 and 2.5 GPA. I'm just really nervous and praying I got in! Can't wait until March 24!!!

I have applied for the 2012 yr as well. I have 11 points with no current class. My gpa is 3.79. Although my chances look good with 11 points, im still nervous. Im also with phi theta kappa but i dont think it makes a difference with tvcc.
