Has anyone applied to Frontier CNEP class 124 or 125?

Hi, I applied to CNEP 124. I had just missed the 122 deadline & am really wishing I had made it because the extra wait to hear if I am in or not is slowly killing me! For you it's nice the 124 deadline was move to Jan 6th, take advantage & apply sooner rather than later. Good luck!

Awesome! I joined this site just to try and meet more nurses who have applied! I have everything ready to apply, just need my nursing supervisor to finish my last reference (which she promised would be next week at the latest!). I just want to apply already! lol. What is your backround?

I've been a nurse for 5 years. Started in med-surg, but have been in l&d for 3 1/2 years now. I started as a birth doula years & years ago & my passion for birth really grew after attending some home births! I'm am fascinated with pregnancy & birth along with women's health & am excited to keep learning!

I'm in California, where are you & what's your background? I'm excited to meet potential classmates!

I've been a nurse for 4 years. Started out in psych, and have been a community health nurse for the past 3 years. I live in PA and work for the department of health. I work with moms and babies a lot, teach breastfeeding, and am part of my local coalition. I have no l & d experience though. Same here, always knew this is what I wanted to do! I'm 28, with a hubby, a 4 yo son, and a 1 yo daughter :)

Happy New Year everyone! I will be applying to class 125 and had a question in regards to the portfolio. I'm STUCK lol. the questions seem simple but I don't know what they are looking for. I have a ADN and I'm applying for the direct entry program ( have a bachelors and master in another discipline). Did anyone complete there portfolio portion and can give some pointers on how to answer the questions. The deadline is Jan 25 and I just found out about the school so I'm in a mad dash. Any information/insight would help.

It took me many hours to complete. The questions required extensive responses.

I'm just not sure if i'm answering or giving the answers in the proper format. I wish there was like a sample I could look at so I knew I was on the right track. Currently I have 3 ex for each question and I have it written as such ex1, ex2, ex3. Not sure if that is what they want or if they want it in a paper format. HELP! lol
