So I was one of the earlier residents apart of the program. STAY AWAY. Now I’ll give them the credit and I was lucky to be on a unit with great preceptors and learned a lot on being a nurse. But the fact they make you sign a 3 year contract , and if you leave after 4 months - you are Obligated to pay 10,000 if you leave is absurd. Human Resources is a joke . The education dept doesn’t really care and finds way to make excuses on why certain things are the way they are. For the pay, and the patients and the lack of respect from management ( esp since management and Human Resources are in cahoots and make you feel like Your the Problem) is saddening. Almost all of the residents regret their decisions and are waiting out the end of their contract.

Thanks for sharing. I was constantly applying with hoping of landing a position in the residency. I think its ridiculous that they want you to sign a three year contact.
