Has anyone applied with the CLPNA from another province?

Hi! I was just wondering if anyone has ever applied with the CLPNA from another province? I'm an LPN from the U.S. and am planning to move to Alberta as soon as I can. Apparently, U.S. applicants are treated like they were just from outside the province, which I think is a good thing in a way. I was wondering if anyone has just gone through the process? I just need an idea on how long it usually takes them to process the whole thing, assuming that you've sent all the necessary paperwork. I've emailed the CLPNA but they don't seem to wanna give me even an approximate time frame. I just need an idea so I can make plans.
