Harford CC Fall 2021

Hi, I’m applying for HCC for the fall. I was wondering if anyone else on here was!

No unfortunately I haven’t heard anything yet! Hopefully by next week we’ll know something

Nope. I was told they are currently processing applications and that they hope to have all the letters mailed by the 9th. The administrative person said she does not plan to email any applicants, I’m hoping we will hear something next week and I’m going to keep an eye on my owl mail just in case. I just can’t imagine they wouldn’t give Summer start people a bit more notice so they have time to prepare.

Wow, they got the applications over a month and they are just now processing them? April 9th is in another week. I’m sorry to everyone that applied for Summer, that’s a bit ridiculous!

Hi! Just jumping in here!

I applied for Summer as well. I emailed them Friday and I was told "Letters will be mailed to all applicants next week." She didn't specify mail or email. 

Can anyone explain how we add up our points? I have all prerequisites finished except Micro but I haven't taken any of them at HCC.

Thank you! How about the Pre-Nursing GPA? Is that only for the classes on this chart or all of our classes overall?

I know people who have gotten in with 13 points, after points the tie breaker between you and another candidate with equal points is GPA. I think they said that they use the highest grade for humanities and retakes.

I know, it is going to be a long week. I'm trying not to expect an email because the administration person said she isn't emailing any of the applicants but I'm still checking. I can't believe that they would really make accepted Summer applicants wait for snail mail sometime next week when the Summer semester starts six weeks from now.

I just checked right before you posted. Mine still says “Nursing Prep” on DegreeWorks and my unofficial transcript.
