Just starting to feel the pressure of needing to move forward in my profession an gain the experience of a practical nurse. currently still working my old job but, it's not where I want to be. Keeping the faith an holding on to that old proverb " Never quit a job until you get a new one ". Looking forward to hearing any great advice for a newbie.

I relocated out of state to land my first LVN job. If you are in a part of the country that is oversaturated with too many nurses, you might need to relocate to see something come into fruition.

Also look into opportunities listed on Indeed and CraigsList.

I was interviewing everywhere and couldn't find a job. It seems like, well, in my area, that most places do not want to hire new LPNs with no experience.

Luckily, I did get a job through an agency and they were giving me 3rd shift assignments to help my nervousness. I also did land a job that is in a substance abuse program.

Keep your head up, you'll find a job.
