Harbor City & Anaheim

Hey guys, so I am new at traveling....looking at different areas and facilities. Does anyone know about these 2 areas....Anaheim and Harbor City, CA? Both are Kaiser, not too sure what to think with that. This is the estimated pay tho: please give any feedback on location, facility and pay.

Hourly: 20/hr

Stipened: 490/wk====1960 tax free/month

F/I: 340/ wk==1360 tax free/month

Avg est take home pay-- 1350-1450.

One minor mistake, there are 4.3 weeks in a month, not 4 weeks. So if you are going by monthly pay, you will make a bit more (I'm guessing you are figuring out monthly housing funds).

It looks like you are planning on housing yourself - taking the stipend, yes? I would hop on Craigslist in those cities and take a look at housing costs. It will likely eat up a quarter of your pay or more. If you are willing to do a house share, you can do much better, but you definitely need to look at costs before committing to an assignment.

Everything else will be personal - if the money is enough to overcome the uncertainties - will you like the area, like Kaiser, like your housing...? Tough choices and I can't help you there. But in either city, you can house yourself in a wide variety of settings (neighboring cities as well), and both have fabulous climates of course. I believe Harbor City has a tougher reputation for gangs, but not certain.
