Her sister Natalie also made history for making them the first family to have a second successful IVF pregnancy, and in 1999 she became the first IVF child to become a parent but the family didn't publicize this because she was 16 years old at the time.
I was about to enter high school when this happened. Has it really been that long?

Both my kids, who are now 13 and 14 are by IVF and I would love to thank her parents for having the courage to undergo this procedure.
I will never forget what the OB resident said after the delivery of my son as it was his first IVF delivery--I heard him say to the staff, "Why, it looks like a normal baby!" I wondered what he was expecting!
