Had a Pt this week who routinely takes 8000mg of Tylenol a day.

When I informed her docter of this practice he ordered liver function tests. Would you believe that they came back normal? I could not believe it!!! How in the $%#* is that possible?

I'm praying for this precious lady......as a fibro victim myself, I know that you will stop at nothing just to get some relief from the horrible pain.

I do hope that she gets to see a pain specialist or a MD that is compasionate about fibro!!

Keep us posted, if you can, about this dear lady!!

My thoughts and prayers are with her!

I have fibromyalgia myself and take more otc anag than I probably should but does not approach that amount..i take aleve and motrin in am if a bad way at work i will take another dose of both w.vit b12 ... if at home i don't take anything unless i have something i have to do...at night i take a couple of percogesic (has apap) i figure if i mix otc meds it will lessen the effect of anyone organ...this is self dx my md doesn't get overly excited about fibro or cfs...this means he doesn't have any symptoms... i hope that your lady gets better
