Gwynedd Mercy Fall 2015 BSN

Hello Everyone!

I'm not sure if I posted this in the correct place. However, I wanted to share that I received great news! I was accepted into the BSN Program at Gwynedd Mercy University in Pa. It will take me three years to complete (I'm a transfer student). I'm super excited but also VERY nervous as I heard their program is hard (nursing school is hard--period!). I'm sure this question has been asked before but I'm hoping someone could offer me some advice on attending nursing school with small children? And also any other helpful tips for first year nursing students would be greatly appreciated. Lastly, does any one have any recent information about their program?

Just got my acceptance for fall 2015! Im sure it will be tough and crazy- especially with kids! i have no info about it, but will ask my friend, since she is a recent grad and is now working at CHOP!

Congratulations on your acceptance!!! When did you apply? I still haven't heard back yet. I am extremely nervous. Did you get your decision through email or the mail?

update: oops I was accepted into the traditional BSN, not accelerated but congrats to you that's great!

I was also accepted for the bsn program. I am transferring and start in may 2015 (summer start). Anyone else start in the summer?

I will also be attending fall 2015. With two kids myself and a transfer student. Wish u much luck and it will be challenging but we can do this.

I am a single mom with three small children. I have all my prerequisites complete. I applied for summer 2016, I am not sure when I will hear from them. I did also apply to Aria Nursing School they have a Bridge Program where you can get your BSN with Penn State. I got accepted to Aria, just waiting to see where I should go.
