Gwynedd Mercy fall 2011, anyone else??

Hi! I got accepted into Gwynedd Mercy's nursing program for Fall of 2011. Has anyone else gotten accepted? If you are a current student or a recent graduate can you please share some of your experience about the program. Thanks! :D

Hi, Congrats on getting accepted! I also have been accepted for the fall 2011 program! I do not know much about the program, other than the information the school offers you. If I find out any other information I will be sure to let yo know!

hey I also got accepted to the nursing program at gwynedd for fall 2011. I have friends that go there for both nursing and non nursing. they say they love it. and just by living around here and have been in enough hospitals to know that gwynedd is highley respected. I recently went to one of there information sessions and i have to say wow. what i like about that school is that 30 days into the first semester you go to out to a hospital. i believe that first semester you go out one day a week and than second semester you go two days a week and it advances after that. I love this aspect becuase you feel like nursing is not a good choice for you, you can transfer out before you spend two years at the school. they also have a TON of affiliations with other hospitals. the campus isnt really that good looking but if your just looking at the program i would say its a solid A!!!!! If we all decide to go gwynedd we should look each other up.

Congrats to both of you!!!! I have heard good things about it too but was really bummed out because no one that I did my pre-reqs with is going to Gwynedd and I was hoping to know some people before the program started! I also applied to St. Lukes but won't here anything back until Julyish....which means I will definitely be accepting Gwynedd in the mean time! I'm up for meeting up in person or on facebook or something! Can't wait to meet my new classmates!!

where did you do your pre-reqs? and i also applied to thomas jefferson but i wont hear back from them until june which kind of sucks becuase they have a great program. i got accepted to a couple of other schools with nursing programs but it looks like gwynedd will probably be the school i go to. Do you live near gwynedd, would you be commuting or living there, ill be commuting i live about 10 minutes away. haha

I did my pre-reqs at MCCC, I'm finishing up my micro right now! I'm not a close to the college as you but I will be communting! Everyone else I did my pre-reqs with are going to Abington! All my pre-reqs are considered apart of Gwynedds program so I can skip them and take oter classes. Do you have any pre-reqs done?

i also did my pre-reqs at mccc. i have most of mine done. not all but most, i still have to finish my chem, take a&p 1and 2 and micro. so basically all sciences. I changed my major from education to nursing so this is all last minute. and your friends they are going to abington? dixon?

Yeah, they are going to Abington Dixon. I have those classes done....all but micro. So if you need help let me know!! :D

Oh yikes, that does't sound good. I thought abour applying there but it's just to far for me. So, I'm guessing you will be taking your sciences at Gwynedd or are you gonna try for over the summer?

im going to take chem over the summer, and probably stat, everything else ill probably take at gwynedd
